Party catering questions
Is there a minimum order?
Yes: $250 for pickup, or $500 for delivery by our team (plus the delivery fee). Order on our catering order form. For a smaller order, call us on (02) 8084 2692.
How much notice do you need?
At least 24 hours, subject to availability; 48 hours or more and we can make everything on the menu. For orders under $1,000, we'll try to fit you in with as little as 4 hours' notice (pickup from Leichhardt only, from 12pm), though some dishes may not be available. For weddings and large events, get in touch as early as you can.
How much does catering cost per person?
Our spreads above show their price for 20 guests and per guest. Each dish comes in set sizes: small or large trays, or by the piece. The order form shows the prices and a running total as you add dishes, and a price per guest once you enter your number of guests. Finger food and skewers are by the piece: at least 12 of each, then any number you like (13, 14, 15...). Delivery ($39 to $89 depending on your suburb) is added when you choose it.
Do you deliver?
Yes, for orders of $500 or more: our own team delivers. Choose Delivery on the order form and enter the address: the delivery fee is $39 to $89 depending on your suburb (we deliver up to about 20 km by road from the nearer restaurant), and the form adds it. Do you have vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes. Our catering menu has vegetarian and vegan dishes, and you can show only those on the order form, or start from our Vegetarian Feast suggestion. Tell us about any dietary requirements or allergies in the extra information box. While we take care in preparing our dishes, traces of allergens may be present.
Is your catering halal?
Yes, all our meat is halal.
Do you do finger food for parties?
Yes: falafel, meat and cheese sambusik, kebbeh, spinach triangles, vine leaves and more, by the piece (12 or more of each), plus skewers, dips and salads. Our Grand Feast spread is a good start for a party.
Do you cater on public holidays?
Yes, with at least the usual notice. A 15% surcharge applies to catering on public holidays.
How should I store the food and any leftovers?
Keep cold dishes like dips and salads in the fridge until you serve them. Don't leave food out for more than two hours: after that, put leftovers in the fridge and eat them within a day or two.
