What we collect
Only what you give us when you use the website:
- Table bookings: your name, phone, email, the day, time and number of guests, and any notes (for example dietary needs or a celebration).
- Catering orders: the same details, plus the dishes you choose, the occasion, and a delivery address if you'd like it delivered, and your organisation and ABN if you need a business invoice.
- Our VIP list: your name, email and, if you give it, your mobile.
- Messages you send through our contact form, or about your catering order (on its page or by replying to our email).
- Your account: a booking, catering order or VIP sign-up creates a Jasmin 1 account with your details, so you can see and change your bookings and orders. If you choose a password, it's stored scrambled: we can't read it.
How we use it
To take and confirm your booking or catering order, invoice you, contact you about it (for example if something changes), and reply to your messages. We keep a record of your bookings and orders, and of changes to them, so our team can look after you.
We only send you promotions and offers if you've said yes (the box on our VIP form, or the setting in your account). You can stop them any time with the unsubscribe link in each email, or in your account.
Payments
Deposits for large group bookings and catering invoices are paid through Stripe, on Stripe's secure pages. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us: we never see or keep your card number.
Who else is involved
We don't sell or rent your information. A few services help us run the website, and only get what they need to do that:
- Stripe takes payments.
- Amazon Web Services sends our emails to you, and receives your replies to messages about your order.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that our forms are sent by people, not spam robots.
- Google Maps, Instagram and TikTok only load when you tap to show a map or play a video. They then follow their own privacy policies.
- When you order pickup or delivery through Foodhub, Uber Eats or DoorDash, you're on their website and their privacy policy applies.
Keeping it safe
The website only works over a secure (HTTPS) connection. Your details are kept in our own database, and only our staff can see them, each with their own login and only for their restaurant. Passwords are stored scrambled, so nobody can read them, and card details never reach us: Stripe handles them.
Cookies and your device
We use cookies only to keep you logged in to your account, and to keep our forms safe. We don't use advertising cookies. The catering order form remembers your last dishes on your device, so you can start from them next time.
Seeing, changing or removing your information
Log in to your account to see your bookings and orders, change your details, and turn promotions on or off. To ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to have your account removed, email us at contact@
